On July 14, 2018, Chicago barber Harith “Snoop” Augustus was shot and killed by the police as he fled a sudden questioning. Assembling footage from surrounding security cameras and police body cams, director and archivist Bill Morrison provides an unflinching composite of police violence.

Morrison joins us to discuss the making of his film, nominated for Best Documentary Short at this year’s Academy Awards.
