Nothing is sick of being misunderstood. It decides to run away from home and explore the world in its first and only documentary, reflecting on life, love and existence over the course of a long weekend. Featuring the work of 62 cinematographers across 70 countries, along with playful rhyming narration by Iggy Pop, In Praise of Nothing is a radical parody of documentary form that finds humor and joy in the profoundly unknown.
We’ll open the discussion floor to director Boris Mitić, who will answer questions and expound on the making of this genre-bending satire, including the use of an anonymous, suggestion-based platform to guide the project’s diverse crew.
